What is My Network?
1. "My Network" is a feature that lets you add your loved ones, close friends, and trusted people. These are the individuals who you can choose to share feelings and important information with when you are no longer around.
2. Key Features:
a. Add Trusted People – Select family, friends, or anyone you trust.
b. Share Important Information – Ensure your messages and legacy reach the right people.
c. Secure & Confidential – Only your chosen network will have access.
d. Easily Manage Connections – Add, update, or remove people anytime.
3. What if a network member has a Blue Ring and Shield around their icon or photo?
a. It denotes that these people are your designated “Notifier.”
4. What if a network member has a Blue Halo?
a. The halo denotes that someone has passed away. We do this out of respect towards the departed soul.


Why Verify Network Members?
1. We know verifying phone numbers & email IDs of your network members might be a bit tedious.
2. But verification ensures that the information we have is correct and that we can send your critical information as per your wishes to the correct recipients.
3. Further, since you have verified the phone numbers & email IDs, your network can simply log in to the app by using their phone number.


What is Send Now? What is Send After My Death?
1. "Send Now" allows you to send messages instantly to your chosen recipients. Unlike scheduled or future messages, these are delivered immediately.
2. “Send After My Death” allows you to send a message now, but it will only be delivered to the recipient after your passing. Key Features are:
a. Delayed Delivery – Messages remain private until they are triggered after your death.
b. Secure & Confidential – Only your chosen recipients can access the message.
c. Personalized Legacy – Share heartfelt messages, wishes, or important information.
d. Peace of Mind – Ensure your words reach loved ones when they need them most.


What is “Email Me My Memories That I Shared”?
1. This feature allows you to email yourself all the messages and memories you have shared with others.
2. Please note: through this option you can only email the data that you have uploaded.
3. Key Features:
a. Personal Record – Get a copy of all shared messages for your reference.
b. Backup – Keep a record of your legacy in a safe place.
4. How Email To Self Works:
a. Step 1: Make sure your email ID is verified. If not, please go to your profile and verify your email ID.
b. Step 2: Click on Email Me My Memories and proceed.
c. Step 3: You will get a link in your email, which will be active for 48 hours.
d. Click on the link to download the data you wanted.
5. Why do we send the link and not the data?
a. Sometimes users may have large data sets to be downloaded. Emails may or may not be able to handle the download of such large data sets. As a result, we follow a standard practice of emailing a link. Users can click on the link and download the data.
6. Why is the link active only for 48 hours?
a. Since we email a link, we maintain the data in a separate secure but temporary cloud space. The time period for such temporary cloud space is 48 hours as per our policy. Please read our policy for the same.
b. You will not be able to raise another "Email My Memory" request during the 48 hours that the link is active.


What does it mean to email someone’s else’s Diary or Memory?
1. Email Someone Else’s Diary or Email Someone Else’s Memories To Yourself is the option through which you can email to yourself all the data that was shared with you.
2. How Email To Self Works:
a. Step 1: Make sure your email ID is verified. If not, please go to your profile and verify your email ID.
b. Step 2: Click on Email <Sender’s Name> Diary or Email <Sender’s Name> Memories and proceed.
c. Step 3: You will get a link in your email, which will be active for 48 hours. Click on the link to download the data you wanted.

1. In a bank, a nominee is someone who has been designated as the person who would receive the proceeds of the account in the case of the account holder's death.
2. Recommendation:
a. We suggest reaching out to your bank for detailed information regarding nominees and their specific policies.


What is a Joint Account Holder in a Mutual Fund?
1. In a Mutual Fund, a joint account holder is a person who shares ownership rights with the primary investor.
2. Recommendation:
a. We suggest reaching out to your Asset Management Company (Mutual Fund) for detailed information regarding joint account holders and their specific policies.


What is a Joint Account Holder in a Demat Account?
1. A joint demat account holder means someone who shares the account that holds various investments.
2. Recommendation:
a. We suggest reaching out to your Stock Broking Company for detailed information regarding joint demat account holders and their specific policies.


What is a Nominee in a Demat Account?
1. A nominee means someone who receives investments held by the account holder in the case of the investor's death.
2. Recommendation:
a. We suggest reaching out to your Stock Broking Company for detailed information regarding nominees in demat accounts and their specific policies.


What is a nominee in insurance?
A nominee is a person who receives the death benefit from a life insurance policy after the policyholder passes away

What is Diary Allocation?
1. Allocate My Diary or Diary Allocation refers to the steps through which a user can decide when their data can be shared with network members.
2. On the Diary Allocation Page:
a. On the left side, all the diary pages created by the user will be visible.
b. On the top, the user can view & add people from the network.
c. On the right side, users can define each page-wise & person-wise when information should be passed on.
3. Define Allocation Options:
a. Users can choose from three options by clicking on “Define Allocation”:
i. Now: The user can choose to make the information visible immediately to the recipient, who can then view the information right away.
ii. After Death: If the user intends to share information only after passing away, they can choose the “After Death” option. Once the platform is informed of the user's death, EternizeMe will share this information with the designated recipients.
iii. Never: If the user does not want to share the information at all, they can choose “Never.” If selected, the information remains private and will not be shared unless mandated by law. Please refer to our “User Agreement & Privacy Policies.”
4. Important Notice:
If a user does not “Define Allocation,” EternizeMe will handle the data according to our policies. Please review our policies for further details.


What is Override Time?
1. Override time is a safety measure in case any designated Notifier mistakenly triggers a Death Notification about you.
2. Example Scenario:
a. Suppose you have set an override time of 48 hours, and one of your notifiers erroneously triggers your death notification.
b. For the next 48 hours, EternizeMe will wait for you to override this notification, ensuring no information is transferred during this period.
c. If you are well, you can override this death notification and reset the system.
3. How to Override a Death Notification?
a. During the override period, log in to your EternizeMe App and press “Override,” which will appear on your screen.
4. What Happens if Override Time Expires?
a. Once the defined Override Time has passed without any override action from you, EternizeMe will proceed with transferring your information to your intended recipients.
5. How Much Override Time Should I Define?
a. We recommend setting at least 48 hours.
b. However, you should decide based on your personal circumstances.


What if all your Notifiers show “Request Pending”?
1. Notifiers play a crucial role in ensuring that your data is passed on after your death as per your wishes.
2. What does “Request Pending” mean?
a. It means that the requests you sent out to your Notifiers have not yet been accepted by them.
3. Why is having at least one confirmed Notifier important?
a. If you do not have at least one Notifier who accepts your request, EternizeMe will not be aware of your death.
b. As a result, we will not be able to pass on your information according to your wishes.
4. What should you do?
a. We recommend having at least two confirmed Notifiers to ensure a smooth process.


What if I have at least one Notifier who has accepted to play the role of Notifier for me?
1. It means that in case of your death, the one Notifier that you have selected can update EternizeMe about your death.
2. What happens when a Notifier updates EternizeMe?
a. As a result, we can initiate the transfer of your information as per your wishes, as soon as the override time expires.
3. What should you do?
a. We recommend having at least two confirmed Notifiers to ensure a smooth process.


What is Notify Death?
1. Notifying Death is a feature through which you can inform us about someone’s death (only if someone in your network has designated you as a “Notifier”).
2. Important Considerations
a. Notifying Death is a serious step and should be taken with responsibility.
b. We recommend that this action be taken only when you need to inform us about someone’s passing.
3. What happens after Notifying Death?
a. Once a Notifier informs us about a death, the platform begins the process of information transfer as per the wishes of the deceased user.


What does “Delete my data" mean?
1. It means that all the memories and diary pages that you created and uploaded will be permanently removed from our system.
2. Impact on Received Data
a. The data that you have received from someone who has passed away and has been kept on cloud under your account will also be deleted.
3. Irreversible Action
a. This action is irreversible, and once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
4. Account Status
a. Your account will remain active, and you can continue using the service.
5. Future Sharing Options
a. You can choose to start sharing at any time.
b. You will also continue to receive memories and diary pages shared by others with you.


What if someone has shared memories or diary pages with me, but that other person is alive?
1. In case someone has shared something with you and that person is alive, then the data that is shared with you is still considered owned by the other person.
2. Therefore, such data will not be deleted due to your actions.


What Is Override Notification?
1. "Override Notification" allows you to cancel or stop any wrongful death notification triggered about you by someone else. This ensures that messages meant to be shared after your passing are not prematurely sent due to errors or false triggers.
2. Key Features:
a. Prevent False Triggers – Stop incorrect notifications before they reach your network.
b. Maintain Control – Ensure your messages and legacy are shared only when intended.
c. Immediate Action – Quickly override and cancel any wrongful activation.
3. If someone triggers a death notification about you erroneously, we suggest you have a chat with that person. We also recommend reviewing your Notifier settings, including changing your Notifiers and adjusting your Override time.


What Does It Mean By “Storage Is Full”?
1. This means you have used all available storage in the app and cannot upload or save any more data.
2. We suggest you upgrade your storage capacity.


What is Grace Period?
1. The Grace Period Notice informs you that your subscription has expired, and you are now in a 90-day grace period.
2. Key Points About the Grace Period:
a. Duration: The grace period lasts 90 days after your subscription expires.
b. Full Access Maintained: You can still access your messages, data, and features during this period. However, you will not be able to create any more diary pages or send any new memories.
c. Renew or Upgrade: You have the choice to renew your current subscription or upgrade to a higher plan.
d. Permanent Data Deletion: If you do not renew or upgrade by the end of the grace period, all your stored data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
3. What You Can Do During the Grace Period:
a. Renew Subscription – Extend your plan to keep your data safe.
b. Upgrade Plan – Switch to a higher plan for more features and storage.
c. Download Important Data – Save any essential messages or files before the grace period ends.
d. Check Notifications – Stay updated on your account status to avoid data loss.
4. What Happens If You Do Nothing?
a. Once the 90-day grace period ends, all your messages, files, and stored data will be automatically deleted.
b. You will no longer have access to your account, and data recovery will not be possible after deletion.
5. What if someone has shared memories or diary pages with me, but that other person is alive?
a. In case someone has shared something with you and that person is alive, then the data that is shared with you is still considered owned by the other person.
b. Their data is not at risk of deletion due to your grace period expiry.
6. To avoid losing your stored memories and messages, renew or upgrade your subscription before the grace period expires.


How can I receive data, memories, or diary entries that someone who died wanted to pass on to me?
1. If you are seeing this message, it means that someone has passed away and they wanted to pass something on to you.
2. At this juncture, you have two choices if you wish to receive what was passed on to you.
3. Choice Number 1:
a. You can choose to download the data on your device.
b. Once you download it, you will be able to see it on your app.
c. However, please note that once you download, we will delete this data from our systems as per our policies. The only copy remaining will be with you on your device.
d. We urge you to make sure:
i. Your device is not lost, since you will then lose this precious data.
ii. If you are going to change the device, please make sure this data is also transferred to your new device.
4. Choice Number 2:
a. You can choose to keep this data on the cloud.
b. If you make this choice, it would mean that this data is maintained on our systems in the cloud.
c. The benefit of maintaining it on the cloud is that you can change devices and still access this data by simply logging into the EternizeMe App from the new device.


What happens if you do not make a choice?
As per our policy, if you do not make a choice in 60 days since the start of the transfer process, we will delete this data from our systems

What does “Download to your device" mean?
1. It means that you can choose to download the data on your device.
2. Once you download it, you will be able to see it on your app.
3. However, please do note once you download, we will delete this data from our systems as per our policies. The only copy remaining will be with you on your device.
4. We urge you to make sure:
a. Your device is not lost, since you will then lose this precious data.
b. And if you are going to change the device, please make sure this data is also transferred to your new device.
